Dynotech Super Trans

We have designed a superior gear box for the gas car/truck community. We took features of the standard Associated GT gear box and improved upon them. The transmission features:
- 12 sealed ball bearings
- billet case
- all metal gears
- ball bearing supported brake arms
- dual phenolic brake arms on both sides of trans case
- gears 20% wider than Stealth's
- one piece top shaft and gear assembly with .250 diameter shaft (rather than .1875)
- fluid-filled gear differential
Both brake hubs have been drilled for lower rotating mass, and feature a captured pin design that doesn't allow drive pins to be lost. Top shaft bearings are a massive ¼ x ½. Also a nice feature is that it has the same bolt hole pattern as the standard Associated GT Stealth transmission. The transmission was designed to accept today's high horsepower motors with ease and with the added convenience of lower maintenance. The transmission has a final drive ratio of 2.5:1. Slight modifications of the vehicle to which the transmission is being added are required. The motor is located approximately .375 inches further forward when using the trans.
Note: Not all vehicles will accommodate this transmission. It was designed for our latest line of cars, the DC-5's (Sprint & EDM), and the trans is a "drop in" for these cars.
